What we did

In collaboration with a French contemporary artist, RSF was invited to develop the technical and spatial foundations for an immersive botanical installation within a luxury retail environment. The artist envisioned a soft yet immersive landscape — a dense field of dried dandelions — to evoke themes of memory, transience, and material delicacy.

Working from the architectural plans of the flagship boutique, our team restructured the floor layout to integrate the floral elements while preserving fluid pedestrian circulation throughout the store. A full-scale base was developed in our studio and CNC-cut to host hundreds of precisely positioned flower stems. Our work also included calibrating stem density to align with the artist’s existing archive of hand-collected and preserved botanicals.

The result was a textured, atmospheric setting that balanced visual impact with material restraint — offering visitors a subtle but evocative encounter at the intersection of sculpture and retail scenography.
